FAQs

How much does solar cost?

The standard 6.6kw system can cost between $5000 to $7500, depending on the brand of the products. The solar power system also depends on the roof pace allowance. This cost will be significantly lower after the eligible government rebates.

Why should I choose Solar?

All the home appliances can be used by the power generated by the solar panels, which means you are using zero power from the grid. Nevertheless, you can sell the unused power back to grid which offsets the amount you pay for your electricity bills.

What is meter reconfiguration and grid connected solar?

Your meter must get reconfigured digitally by the electricity distributor once the solar is inspected and running, so that you can sell back the excessive power to grid generated by Solar system.

Similarly, Grid connected solar means your system should be connected to the power grid (Energy Distributor). The panel creates DC power which the inverter transforms into AC. This AC power in the inverter helps to send back the excessive power to the grid, to which you get credit back.

How should I check if my solar system is working or not?

You can monitor the daily production of your solar system using monitoring service app. If you are not able to setup your monitoring service app, you can still check the production on Inverter screen.

Why should I get a battery?

The residential solar system generates the power, and it will be utilised in your home appliances. The storage battery will store the excessive power generated by the system.
